De UGears Hurdy-Gurdy bouw je zelf samen zonder lijm, tandenstokers of speciaal gereedschap, omdat dit model uitsluitend de gepatenteerde UGears multiplex verbindingen gebruikt.

De montage van de Hurdy-Gurdy bestaat uit meerdere fases.

Eerst worden de kleinste delen in elkaar gezet om grotere bouweenheden te vormen: de body, deck's, het wiel, krukjes, hoofdjes, stempen, het keyboard, de snaren.
Dit allemaal bij elkaar vormt dan het complete model.

De UGears Hurdy-Gurdy heeft een uniek ontwerp en veel technische elementen en details die van de samenbouw en het speelproces een spannend spel maken.
